Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – Booking & Confirmation

Booking a stay, event venue, or yacht on GoaTraveller.in is simple:

  1. Search for a property – Use filters to find a stay that fits your needs (location, amenities, price, etc.).
  2. Check property details – Read descriptions, house rules, and payment terms carefully.
  3. Select dates & guests – Choose your check-in and check-out dates, and the number of guests.
  4. Send a booking request or instant book – Some properties allow instant booking, while others require host approval.
  5. Make payment – Pay the full amount or an advance (as per the host’s requirements).
  6. Receive booking confirmation – Once the host confirms (if required), you will get a confirmation email and WhatsApp message with booking details.

We support multiple payment methods, including:

  • UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.)
  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • Net Banking
  • PayPal (for international guests)
  • Bank Transfer (if applicable by the host)

Note: Payment terms may vary depending on the property.

How will I know if my booking is confirmed?

  • If the property supports Instant Booking, your booking is confirmed immediately after payment.
  • If the property requires Host Approval, the owner will review your request and confirm within a few hours. You will receive an email and WhatsApp notification once approved.

Yes! Some property listings provide an option to send inquiries before booking. However, bookings must be completed through GoaTraveller.in to ensure secure transactions.

If a host does not approve your request within the given time:

  • Your payment will be refunded (if any amount was charged).
  • You can choose another property from our platform.

Cancellations are subject to the property’s policy. Standard refund policies are:

  • More than 60 days before check-in100% refund
  • 30-60 days before check-in85% refund
  • Less than 30 days before check-inNo refund

Some properties may have different cancellation policies—always check before booking.

If you are a host/property owner, follow these steps to confirm a booking:

  1. Log in to your GoaTraveller.in account
  2. Go to Dashboard → My Bookings
  3. Find the pending booking request
  4. Click Approve (if you accept) or Decline (if not available)
  5. Raise invoice , once guest paid you will recieve booking confirmaton.
  6. The guest will be notified, and the payment will be processed

If the booking is instant, it will be automatically confirmed once payment is made.

Yes, GoaTraveller.in charges a small service fee on every successful booking to maintain our platform and support services. This fee is included in the final booking amount.

  • Check-in: 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM
    Late check-out may incur additional charges.
  • Respect check-in/check-out timings
  • No loud music after 9:00 PM
  • No smoking inside the property
  • Unauthorized events, prostitution, and drug consumption are strictly prohibited
  • Any damage to the property will be charged to the guest

Failure to follow house rules may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

Some properties require a refundable security deposit. This will be refunded after check-out if no damages occur. The deposit amount will be mentioned in the listing.

If you experience any issues (such as maintenance problems or service failures):

  • Contact the property owner or manager (details will be provided in your booking confirmation).
  • GoaTraveller.in only acts as a platform and is not responsible for property management.

Pets are allowed only if specified in the property listing. Some properties may charge an additional pet fee.
